Welcome! I'm Heather, keeper of this blog. I've been writing online since 2007, most of those years spent at my former web-home, Beauty that Moves. I am putting down roots here now, and am grateful for your company.
My interests vary and thankfully are ever-changing, but most consistently, the last thirty+ years of my life have been spent teaching, writing, growing food and medicine, homeschooling our now adult daughter, and caring for my family. We make our home in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
My greatest talents include taking backroad Sunday drives and poking around dusty antique shops.
Home is everything to me.
