Our online shop will be opening in Autumn, 2019!
In the coming years, the bulk of our offerings will be in the form of dried medicinal herbs. With 2019 being our first growing season, our fields are currently all about seed production and perennial establishment. In 2020 we will begin stocking a variety of bulk herbs in the shop to serve the needs of herbalists and home apothecaries. We are excited to share domestically grown herbs, using beyond-organic regenerative agriculture practices, that will often land in your hands within two weeks of being in our fields.
While our goal is not to produce a large variety of herbal products for sale (there are many medicine makers doing this great work already, our mission is to supply them!), we will offer a few items that we make and use regularly here in our home. This will include a line of single extraction tinctures, as best quality tinctures are made using fresh plant material. It won't be realistic to ship fresh plant cuttings for you to make your own tinctures, so we are happy to produce those here on the farm. We do have plans to offer Medicine Days a couple times a year, where folks in the region (and those willing to enjoy a roadtrip) are welcome to come to the farm and gather fresh herbs for their own medicine-making needs.
To keep things interesting (and to keep ourselves occupied during the long winter), we will round out our dried herb offerings with other goods made here on the farm. Handmade and homegrown delights from the field, the sugarhouse, and the craft room. Stay tuned for our grand opening this autumn.
